The NIICS is a special 10-year Urdu medium course under DHIU aimed at imparting the Darul Huda model of Islamic education to students hailing from other Indian States and from Nepal. Divided into a five-year secondary, two-year senior secondary and three-year degree stages, the NIICS provides a completely free education (including books, dress, and traveling expenses) to the selected students. The admission is open to all Muslim boys below twelve years and having basic exposure in both religious and material education.
By nurturing a new generation of Muslim scholars with Urdu as their mother tongue, DHIU aims at reaching out to the wider Indian Muslims. It hopes that the NIICS can help Indian Muslims get some well-equipped scholarly leaders who can lead them to progress in all walks of life, guide them to the true spirit and teachings of Islam, and make them good and responsible citizens of secular India.
