MHIC is yet another budding flower of Darul Huda model of education. Founded by the DHIU alumni association called HADIA (Hudawis Association for Devoted Islamic Activities) and run by DHIA Managing Committee, MHIC is a new academic venture started functioning since June 2009 at an under-developed small town of Punganur in the Chittur district of Andhra Pradesh. The initial objective of the MHIC project is nurturing a new generation of scholarly leadership capable of working for the progress and development of Muslim community in Andhra Pradesh. The DHIU is ensuring that the MHIC inmates are served with high quality religious and secular education at higher levels. The DHIU is confident that the MHIC products can give a better leadership for Muslims in Andhra Pradesh and other states by raising their living standard at par with others and nurturing better inter-faith relations. The college bears the entire living and educational expenditures of the MHIC students. Interestingly, the college campus has already became a living hub of Da‘wah and socio cultural activities in the region.
