The
section for Hifzul Qur’an (memorization
of the Holy Qur’an) was the first
addition to the institutional diversities
of DHIU. Selecting students in the age group
of 7-9 and having sharp memory power, the
Hifz section let them commit the entire
Qur’an into memory and continue the
12-year course of DHIU after its successful
completion. This section was recently shifted
to a separate building close to the abode
of the 19th century Sufi-scholar from Hadhramaut,Yemen
Mouladdaweela Sayyid Alawi Al-Mampurami,
whose grave is one of the major pilgrimage
centre in South India. |
